Whats a good way to show part of someones hair shaved off in a short film using makeup?

Use a silicon bald head piece, blend it to look like the person's natural skin tone, then paint on the shadow. If the person is not totally bald use a partial piece or a combination bald piece and wig cap.

I am shooting a film for a filming class and I need away to show someones hair that got shaved off. When the guy notices that he has a piece of hair sticking up out of his head, he accidently shaves it off along with a patch of hair on his head. Whats a good way with makeup to show that?
